A gorgeous Epidote in Pink Opal sphere weighing 490g, with a beautiful contrast of soft blush pink, creamy white and natural mossy green Epidote running throughout the stone.

This piece has loads of character. The Pink Opal creates a dreamy pastel base while the darker green Epidote forms organic patches and markings across the sphere. Turn it around and the patterning completely changes, with some areas predominantly pink and others showing much heavier green mineralisation.

At just under half a kilo, it is a lovely substantial sphere for a crystal display and a particularly pretty choice if you love unusual pink and green mineral combinations.

About Pink Opal & Epidote

Pink Opal is an opaque to translucent variety of common opal known for its delicate pink colouring. In this piece it occurs alongside contrasting green Epidote, a silicate mineral that commonly forms in shades ranging from pistachio green through to deep olive green.

The combination creates naturally varied areas of pink, cream and green, meaning no two pieces will have exactly the same patterning.
