Black Moonstone with Asterism & Lattice Sunstone Sphere

A seriously unusual Black Moonstone sphere with asterism and lattice Sunstone, weighing 66g and graded A quality.

This little sphere has a beautiful smoky charcoal and silvery-grey body with incredible optical detail running through the stone. Under direct light, the feldspar structure creates a luminous silvery sheen, while fine intersecting lines and reflective inclusions produce the distinctive lattice-like appearance visible across the surface.

Turn it through the light and different sections come alive, making this one of those pieces that is far better appreciated in motion than from a single angle. The combination of dark Moonstone, asterism and Sunstone-like reflective inclusions makes it a particularly interesting piece for collectors of unusual feldspar.

Only one available. You will receive the exact 66g sphere photographed.

About Black Moonstone

Moonstone belongs to the feldspar mineral group and is prized for optical effects caused by light interacting with its internal structure. Darker material is commonly sold as Black Moonstone and can display silvery flashes, internal layering and other striking light effects.

Metaphysical Properties

Black Moonstone is traditionally associated with intuition, grounding and new beginnings, while Sunstone is associated with confidence, vitality and motivation. Together they are often chosen as a balance between reflective, intuitive energy and forward movement.

Metaphysical properties are offered for spiritual interest only.
