This is such a cheerful little sphere. Rather than being one flat shade of pink, it has loads of natural variation, with deeper raspberry markings running through softer blush and pale green areas. The polished finish really brings out the different colours and gives the whole piece a lovely depth.

About Thulite

Thulite is the pink to reddish variety of the mineral zoisite. Its distinctive colouring comes primarily from manganese, with individual pieces ranging from delicate pale pink through to much richer rose and raspberry shades.

Natural variations, inclusions and contrasting mineral areas can occur throughout Thulite, creating the mottled appearance seen in this sphere.
